dear minder and others thanks for your all positive and encouraging comments. as one of the members of aleyhte tezahurat -aka \ aleyh\ - i am very much impressed and honoured about your ideas and compliments. it\'s been more than 3 years we -as the band members- are together and trying to play our own music. we have a very strong belief in what we do and what we intend to do but unfortunately the music sector is in a damn crisis in our country for a long time. on the other hand we do not see a beam of light at the end of this tunnel. so we postponed our album project to an unknown time. still we keep on playing and composing new songs. since you are very much interested in our music, i feel the obligation to answer your questions in any subject regarding \ aleyh\ . please do not hesitate to contact. thanks and cheers. suvar

If you don\'t speak English it\'s gonna be tough outside your own country. Obviously this band don\'t sound like a heavy metal Turkish folk band, rock music isn\'t only for America and Britain. Rock bands were strutting their stuff in Russia at the same time they were in the US. I would love to know who is in this band but there is no info anywhere and i don\'t understand their bio on their myspace page because it\'s in Turkish.. you can see how this can seclude a non-english speaking band in the US. I\'d like to help them and others break through the language barrier because it\'s all music at the end of the day. If anyone can speak or translate Turkish please get in touch. I think someone in the band is called Korhan Kalaycioglu, because i had a facebook message informing me of a gig they have tonight.. but i wasn\'t able to decipher the info.

The more i listen to this band the greater my admiration... i can hear the touchs of Rush, Led Zeppelin etc .. inspiration for many an artist.. but the energy these guys produce is intense, there tight.. and the recordings are really good. The sound is excellent, production simple and effective. It\'s the classic recipe for good rock production. And what makes it special for me is the contrast of English to non-english singing.. If the vocals had been in English it may not have had that extra something that i look for. But Turkish really does add an extra element to the vocal phrasing you could not possibly achieve singing in English.. this is so refreshing. Why should European or world bands sing in English (or american english). I would rather hear it how the the band perceives it, in their own language culture.. Excellent band.. deserve lots of attention..
