It's about my new book, TURN IT UP! Love, Life, and Death... Southern Style. This is the book about the last years of Ronnie Van Zant's Lynyrd Skynyrd. This remarkable band was only around 4 years after their first album, and I was with them for two of them. Two men, brothers by choice, face improbable odds as a ragtag bunch of southern musicians go from 3500 seat gigs to performances in front of 100,00 - 500,000. It's finally ended, prematurely, as a set of ironic events lead to the plane crash.

This isn't your average rock and roll book, this is about characters, personalities, relationships - a wild ride that will make you split your gut laughing, and break your heart in the end. It's "Terms of Endearment" meets rock and roll. 

The website will be up in a week. The book will be released on Amazon on Oct. 20th, all other major outlets across the country in November. It's available as a traditional book, and a 10 CD audio book, about 12 hours of listening, with the actual voices accurately represented.
