The leaked US cables, published in the Guardian newspaper, contain harsh criticism of the UK military effort in Afghanistan from 2007 to 2009.
In one cable, US general Dan McNeill was said to be "particularly dismayed by the British effort" in fighting the drugs trade in Afghanistan.
He is quoted as saying that British forces had "made a mess" of counter-narcotics operations in Helmand by employing the "wrong" tactics.

Criticism of the British military effort goes back to 2007 when Gen McNeill was in charge of Nato forces.

In another cable, the then Afghan Foreign Minister, Rangin Dadfar Spanta, expressed disappointment at the ordering of an extra 2,000 British soldiers to Helmand, saying: "They were not ready to fight as actively as American soldiers."

At a meeting with Senator John McCain in December 2008, President Karzai said he was relieved that US Marines were being sent to reinforce the British-led mission in Helmand and "related an anecdote in which a woman from Helmand asked him to 'take the British away and give us back the Americans'."

My reaction, as many agree, is Karzai and all the other drug dealers running Afghanistan, should go FUCK themselves!! Why should British soldiers die defending what is quite obviously a corrupt Afghan administration. I do not see them on the front line dying for there people, they are skum of the highest order. I don't believe they are worth defending from the Taliban if that is there opinion of us.

In all this post election soap opera in Britain one disturbing possibility has arisen. Ed Balls, education secretary will most likely be putting himself up for leader of the Labor Party. If the Lib Dems do a deal with Labor today on forming a new government it means Britain could end up with a Prime Minster Balls !!

Jon Venables was one of the two 10 yr old killers of James Bulger. They tortured James and killed him, were convicted of murder and sent down for it. They only served 8 yrs and were released with new identities and a new life handed them. A vast amount of money was spent setting them up with new lifes in society, even though it was clear to the majority of intelligent England that this was a disgrace and the chances they would re-offend were high.

Well that day appears to have come as Venables has been recalled to prison after 'serious allegations'.. It is claimed the offense is 'sexual assault', however the UK government refuses to divulge what the fuck is going on. Not surprisingly, considering that if they had done there job properly this man would never have been released in the first place and the alleged crime never taken place.
