Thanks for your email. We are very sorry to hear that Big Brother is in such financial difficulty that it cannot afford to pay honestly for the equipment for its activities. Unfortunately, as a small family company we just don't have the financial strength to prop up your organisation in its desperate need, but perhaps there are charities to whom you could apply if you are struggling.

As you may gather from the tone of this email, we find it hard to have any respect for an enterprise which on the one hand blatantly sucks money from an un-suspecting public, and yet on the other seeks to freeload on small hard-working family businesses. Is it perhaps that you think we are so dumb as to imagine that it will be worth any amount of hassle and potential damage to an expensive and delicate musical instrument just to have interacted with the most unremarkable end of the television spectrum?

Your begging letter will be shown to our friends and colleagues as we feel appropriate. What an embarrassment for you!

Needless to say we hope you are able to avoid wasting our time and yours in the future by concentrating your scrounging efforts elsewhere.

Bono, the U2 frontman, is the archtypical 'head up his arse' rockstar! along with Sting & Bob Geldof they preach to the masses about poverty and the environment from there ivory chairs, private jets and mansion houses.. not content with being merely rockstars, they crave the kind of fame attributed to Gandi or Jesus Christ. Blinded by living in a world of stadium gig euphoria, which lifts the performers to a false sense of godleness, they take there pretensious 'climb on the bandwagon' mentality and try and ram it down our throats via the media.. making sure all the trademark self-promotional tools are on view for all to see.. i.e. Bono's wrap around glasses.. Sting, he's never far away from a musical instrument so he can bore us with some latest crossover crap..

Bono's latest poke at the British, is comparing the potato famine in Ireland to the situation in Africa... of course, when all else fails, blame the British for everything.. apparantly the Irish had to 'deal' with the British, that could mean a hell of alot of different things, i wonder what he really meant ? I conclude the British ought to deal with Bono, he is no John Lennon, despite his vain attempts in trying...
